Review by hotel critic
Rocky Guesthouse, a charming abode nestled in the heart of Hampi Bazaar, exudes warmth and hospitality perfect for families exploring this ancient town. The central location proved ideal for our adventures, with the temples just a stone's throw away. As a filmmaker drawn to detail, I appreciated the simple yet pristine rooms. Our little one, under 6, was delighted with the thoughtful touches in the room, making us feel truly welcomed. The owner's genuine assistance extended beyond recommendations; with all children under 12 in tow, he tailored our tuk-tuk tour to suit our family perfectly. The breakfast spread not only satisfied our diverse tastes but also catered to our young one's preferences, ensuring a seamless start to our day. Despite the bathroom showing signs of age, the planned updates leave us eager to revisit. As a solo traveler from Jaipur, India, I found Rocky Guesthouse to embody the essence of Indian hospitality - inclusive, genuine, and accommodating. Our family's experience was not just pleasant; it felt like a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Indian culture, making our Hampi sojourn unforgettable.
